Sometimes you are just at your wit’s end.
You’ve meditated, made your Mind Map, prayed, and envisioned your goals until there’s hardly time to actually live your life. And still nothing seems to happen.
When you have reached this point, it’s time for the “Hey, Buster” Prayer.
Now, it’s important to match your energy to this prayer. If you are feeling exasperated, frustrated and at the end of your rope—that’s the energy you need to use when praying this prayer.
It’s also best to say the prayer aloud. So you may want to be somewhere that you are alone. I find a car is often the best place. Preferably when you are stopped. It doesn’t take long to pray this prayer.
So here we go:
“Hey, Buster, I want ____________________ in my life and I want it NOW.”
Simple, right? This prayer is about the energy you feel when you are just done.
Now, sometimes people object to this prayer, saying “I could never talk to God that way.”
To which I respond, “Come on. You’ve called God worse that this over the years. He’s a big guy. He can take it.”
After you’ve prayed this prayer, it’s important that you pay attention. Your prayer will be answered. Be sure you notice it. AND THEN—and this is crucial—say “Thank You.”
The attitude of gratitude is the oil that keeps this machine running.
You can use this prayer as often as you want. Just remember that the energy of frustration is what makes the prayer work. And you can’t fake it.
So when you are at your wit’s end, just remember, “Hey, Buster . . ”
