I used to hate being alone on Friday nights. Then I realized that on Monday I could pretty well figure Friday would come around in a few days. So I started making plans on Monday to do something on Friday!
I used to have a lot of problems. So I decided to redefine the word ‘problem.’ I just figured I had lots of situations come up in life that needed to be dealt with. Amazing how few problems I had in my life from then on!

Some of you may be familiar with the following saying, however many of you may not know it in its entirety:
“When the student is ready, the teacher will appear. . . everywhere.”
What foods trigger eating for you? If you list sugar, carbs or starches, eat protein with those foods to limit the cravings those foods may trigger.
When you slow down, time slows down with you. What that means to me is that when I take the time to think things through and do them right the first time, I save a lot of time and energy not redoing it.
Remember something from your childhood that brought you joy today.

Great quick and healthy fish dinner for one
Boil one peeled, quartered potato with a quarter onion until nearly tender. Add a piece of fresh fish (like a small piece of Chilean Sea Bass) for about 5 minutes or until it flakes apart. Great fish stew!
